Kerri Shannon is a writer, editor, and content strategist living in Baltimore, MD. She’s written for investing sites, career resource sites, community sites, and satire sites. She loves covering multiple topics and interviewing new people because she’s curious and it keeps her on her toes (it’s important to have strong feet to journey through life).

She’s also worked extensively on creating and executing content and SEO strategies, building e-letter lists, developing user experiences, and crafting sharp editorial and marketing copy. She’s managed teams and collaborated with experts in the finance, career resource, and marketing fields. See her resume or LinkedIn for more.

Outside of her professional work, Kerri has studied writing with some wonderfully talented people and written sketches and performed with the Baltimore Improv Group. She’s regularly involved with short-form and long-form improv comedy shows in Maryland.

Baltimore myths: Kerri’s daily life is not like an episode of HBO’s The Wire.

Baltimore facts: Kerri loves steamed crabs and Old Bay seasoning.

Baltimore facts: Kerri has seen John Waters around town a handful of times.

Baltimore facts: It is Charm City.
